Guinness World Record Breaker Update: You may have seen some of our work over the years as we have created the world’s largest Rubik’s Cube mosaics including ‘The Last Supper’ (+4,000 cubes) in 2010, as well as ‘The Hand of God’ (+12,000 cubes) in 2011.This year we are breaking every existing record for ‘Largest Rubik’s Cube Mosaic Ever Created’ by using 80,940 Rubik’s Cubes to recreate the skyl
ine of Macau, China. We have been working hard over the past few months with international teams to conceptualize, design and twist each of the 80, 940 Rubik’s Cubes into this monumental work of art. Amazingly, the finished mural will tower over 13 feet high and stretch over 200 feet wide. The mural is being unveiled and displayed on the Macau waterfront just outside Hong Kong in the coming days and Guinness World Records will be on hand to confirm the record breaking achievement as well as to photograph and film the mural for their annual publication. The finished mural will be on display for visitors to enjoy on the Macau waterfront until early January where it will be taken to its permanent home which has yet to be announced.Let us know if you have any questions, in the meantime our Creative Director is working on the finishing touches in Macau and we will be posting more photos, videos and updates over the coming days!
